The potential dangers involved with building a Faraday cage

An email from a reader in Egypt:

Dear Ms. Singer,

I just read an article about you a on opednews.com and so was linked to this site which I shall share with all my connections.

I thank you for doing what you do!

As for the unavoidable EMR fields we live in – maybe building a FARADAY CAGE around the childrens beds might be useful. I myself will have one made.

All my best wishes for you.

Reply from Katie Singer:

Please beware that by building a Faraday cage, you might not block magnetic fields/stray voltage/ground current. You might intensify these and cause unintended harm. You will need good meters and to keep taking measurements. My book might give you good resources for your exploration.

One more thing. We need the Earth’s electromagneticfields in order to keep healthy. You do not want to shield yourself from them!

Best of luck,
Katie Singer
